Policies

Please see more information below about my booking terms and conditions as well as my clinic policies.

Booking Terms 

When you make a booking online or at the clinic the following terms and conditions apply. By making a booking you are agreeing to these terms. 

Booking
First bookings must be made through my online booking portal. If you do not receive a confirmation email then your appointment has not been secured and may be offered to someone else. 
Appointments can be changed and cancelled up to 24 hours in advance. Card details may be taken at the time of booking but not charged (unless you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or fail to attend). Some appointments require a deposit to secure them.

 

Contact Information
It is your responsibility to ensure correct and up to date contact information is provided. Please inform me of any changes as soon as possible via email to bethanyrushworth@outlook.com so I can update your records. I may not be held responsible for loss of correspondence such as appointment confirmation or reminder messaging due to incorrect details being provided. 

 

Inclusivity 
I welcome and respect all genders, non-binary and gender non-conforming people, the entire spectrum of the LGBTQI+ Community, the elderly, people at any level of ability, and all religions. I will not tolerate hateful behaviour towards these communities and will refuse or stop a service if this policy is infringed upon. Cancellations/rescheduling 
If you need to cancel or change your appointment please notify me as soon as possible even if this means contacting me out of hours. I understand emergencies do happen so if you need to reschedule or cancel please try to give me as much notice as possible. Cancellations over 24 hours will be refunded. 100% of the total price will be charged if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment start time or if you fail to attend. 

 

Lateness 
If you are running late please let me know your expected arrival time ASAP. Depending on the length of time and service booked I will either offer a shorter treatment or your appointment will be cancelled. If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment will be cancelled and treated as a no-show and charged at 100%. 

Refusal of Service
I reserve the right to refuse a booking or appointment for any reason such as: frequent cancellations, lateness, failure to follow aftercare advice, failure to comply with the policies. If you are deemed unsuitable for a treatment due to inaccuracies in the details you provide to me there will be a charge for clinic time taken by the appointment. If I feel a treatment is not in your best interests and we cannot proceed with it, no cost will be incurred. 

 

Mobile phones/distractions 
Mobile phones are only permitted to be used before the commencement of the treatment to show/send photos. If you want to take before and after photos of yourself, please do these before and after your appointment not during it as I do not allocate extra time for this. Except for emergencies/exceptional circumstances, mobile phone conversations or texting during treatments is not permitted as it compromises my ability to adhere to appointment schedules and could result in me being late for other patients. It also risks interfering with treatment provision and could be dangerous. 

 

Consultation 
You will be sent the appropriate consultation form to fill out once you’ve booked your appointment. You will also be sent a medical history form for every appointment. Please ensure this is up to date each time. Every patient is required to do this so I can prepare for your appointment, and reduce the time spent for you in the clinic going through paperwork/admin. Any relevant forms will be emailed to you via your confirmation email. Please take the time to complete these and send them back to me before your appointment. Appointments cannot be carried out without the relevant forms being completed. Rebooking 
It is your responsibility to book appointments either online or before you leave the clinic. If you do not book in advance and cannot find a suitable appointment, I will not be held responsible. 

 

Payment
All major cards and GBP cash are accepted for payment. Please note that I do not keep cash on the premises so please bring the correct amount if you are paying cash. 

 

Refunds
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. ID may be required for some bookings to prove you are over 21 years of age. You may also be required to bring proof of your birthday on photographic ID if you have used a birthday month discount code when booking. 

 

Children, animals and chaperones
Children and animals will not be able to attend your appointment with you. It is not a safe environment for them. The products, chemicals, tools and equipment can be dangerous if not handled by a professional and I need to concentrate on your treatment. If a service/therapy animal is required please contact me in advance and I will do my best to accommodate you. This may mean mobile treatment is more suitable in rare circumstances. I will do everything I can to accommodate all patients and their needs. You are welcome to bring a chaperone or support person (must be over 16 years of age). 

 

Complaints policy 
I do my very best for each and every patient, and hope you are satisfied with the service and treatment received. If you aren’t and have a complaint, please send this in writing as soon as possible so I can address it for you. Please email to bethanyrushworth@outlook.com.

How I use your information 
I am registered with the ICO. I collect data from you to provide a service. Without your information I would not be able to carry out this service. The only third party your information is shared with is www.cliniko.com, the online booking system I use. If a prescription is required your details will be provided to the pharmacy in order for me to order stock for your appointment. I only collect information directly related to your treatment. Your consultation cards and notes are stored securely on this database and are password protected. Only I have access to this. I will only use photos with consent. I do not use your information for marketing purposes if you opt out. I will store your notes and information for 21 years. You have the right to access your records should you wish. I am registered with the GDC 264950.
