FAQS

Can I get a same day appointment?

Occasionally, same-day appointments become available. Please use the online booking portal to look for available appointments. Last minute cancellations will be shared on the Instagram page dr.bethanyrushworth.

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

Yes! You may bring someone with you to your appointment provided they are over 16 years of age. Please see booking terms and conditions for more information.

Do you offer financing options?

Dr Rushworth does not currently have financing options available, however she accept all major cards, online payments, bank transfer, cash and apple pay.

Do I have to have clinical photos taken?

Yes. All facial aesthetics patients will have a before and after picture taken for their clinical records. This will not be shared anywhere without your consent, however is mandatory for me to be providing treatment in line with my insurance.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, consultations are currently free and there is no obligation to go ahead with any treatment. If you book in for a treatment, Dr Rushworth will always discuss this with you in detail before starting, to ensure it is the right treatment for you. However, if you are unsure which treatment you would like, please book a consultation first. There is a charge for this, however if you need further information about treatments offered, Dr Rushworth would be happy to provide this free of charge. Please contact her to discuss this.

What qualifications does Dr Rushworth have?

Dr Rushworth qualified from the University of Leeds with distinction in an MChD/BChD in Dental Surgery. This also includes a BSc in Oral Science. She has also been awarded the MFDS RCPS(Glas), a societal membership achieved after passing two further exams in general dentistry. Dr Rushworth has also done further training and courses on facial aesthetics, ZO Skin Health, Aquagold Fine Touch, complications management, Invisalign, occlusion, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and smile makeovers, to name a few.

Will treatment be painful?

Your comfort is extremely important and Dr Rushworth uses multiple techniques to make treatment both gentle and relaxing where possible. She also insists all patients tell her if anything doesn't feel quite right and will always stop when asked! Even if it is just for you to have a rest or a drink. For some treatments, a numbing cream will be applied beforehand, whereas for others this is not required and most patient's find them okay.

How old do I have to be for treatment?

For skin concerns consultations are offered to adults aged 18+. ID may be required for proof of age. For dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections (or any treatment using these products/ingredients), you must be 21 years of age or older. Again, ID may be required.

Will Dr Rushworth always say yes to treatment?

Absolutely not. If I do not believe a treatment is in your best interests or I am concerned it won't be an improvement, I will always be honest and will turn patient's away if this is the case.
